I was riding my bicycle on 17th Avenue by Trader Joe's. You were an older couple waiting to cross Pine Street. You were starting to cross when I was making my left turn onto Pine. I thought we were all doing okay and everyone could make it without stopping. But you stopped. Then it happened: I yelled out, "Hurry up!" I didn't mean it like that. I only meant you should keep going. I felt awful afterward. I certainly understand why you would hesitate after seeing a bicycle heading toward you. You didn't do anything wrong, and I was rude. I don't want to be the person out there berating cautious seniors. Really, so sorry about that.
