In the wake of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, Seattle’s music community has rallied together to book several last-minute benefit shows and dance nights to raise money for a number of organizations including the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, Convoy of Hope, and Yรฉle Haiti.
If you haven’t donated yet (or have, but want to give more), here’s a rundown of some upcoming all-ages shows that’ll be raising money to help Haiti.
This Thursday, January 28, the Moore hosts the Seattle Helping Haiti benefit concert and auction featuring performances by Sweet Water, Vince Mira, MXPX, the Maldives, the Classic Crime, and more. Local businesses are also donating items for a silent auction. The show costs $15, and all proceeds will be donated to the Red Crossโmore information can be found at www

On February 4, Neumos hosts the Haiti Relief Show, an all-ages hiphop show with Common Market, the Physics, Dyno Jamz, and Sol. Advance tickets are only $10 (available now at www.neumos
