TED LEO, GREGORY AND THE HAWK
Everyone's favorite indie cover artist Ted Leo stops by the University of Washington's Henry Art Gallery tonight for a solo set. Tourmate Gregory and the Hawk (who is not a man/bird duo but actually a lone songstress) opens. Henry Art Gallery, 8 pm, $8 students/$12.

Day three of PWRFL Power and Posse's "Ultra Local West Coast Tour" gets under way tonight at the Pioneer Square space called, er, Space. I've been seriously impressed by PWRFL Power's blistering new material, which takes its inspiration from his recent immersion into old blues recordings. His current favorite blues guitarists are Reverend Louis Overstreet, Lightnin' Hopkins, and Brownie McGhee. With Sports and Loyalty Is Blue. Space, 6:30 pm, $7 cash only.
ABE VIGODA, WILD NOTHING, M. WOMEN
Abe Vigoda bring their controversial new 1980s-inspired sounds, Wild Nothing brings his ballyhooed bedroom post-punk, and M. Women bring their turbulent alt-energy. BATHS, BRAIDS, GOBBLE GOBBLE
Chop Suey hosts a rare all-ages show tonight, featuring Californian electronic whiz kid Baths, along with Braids and Canadians Gobble Gobble, the best live band I saw last year. Past Gobble Gobble sets have included the following: high kicks, hula skirts, face paint, dudes hitting each other in the face with sticks, forced crowd participation, weird circuit-bent toys, and drum kits made from pots and pans.
