There are live music venues on Beacon Hill (and not just in people's houses). What does it take for them to be officially recognized by The Stranger?
3
@copass.....where?
4
Perihelion often has live music, and Beacon Arts regularly curates concerts at the Garden House.
5
Also The Grocery and occasionally at El Centro. All that said, I'm happy to have a new place in the neighborhood.
6
so is gentrification ok if it comes with PBR and angst?

I will go out on a limb and guess that Perihelion, Garden House, Beacon Arts, and El Centro, wouldn't be booking the talent that will most likely be booked at Clock-Out. I have a feeling that it will be a music venue first and lounge/restaurant second.

@6 g2000; if this is gentrification (change of ownership of an existing restaurant/lounge) then Black & Tan Hall in Hillman City is equally guilty of gentrification.

Please wait...
