Didn’t make it down to Indio for Coachella (pronounced a sneeze-like “CoachellaFest” for locals) for the dry oven heat and the start of North American Continuous Music Festival Season? Even if that last-minute product placement sponsorship didn’t pan out, you can still catch a whole lot of the music via the magical powers of the Internet.
I’ll be heading over in a few hours to get the full “aching legs and constant fear of sunburn” experience, but you can start watching music from Weekend One from the comfort of your home or office starting at 3:30 PDT when the festival starts streaming live (and possibly tape-delayed) performances across three YouTube channels. Tonight’s coverage includes the first (of dozens of planned festival performances) from a reunited Outkast (11:30pm) and runs through Sunday night when Arcade Fire and Disclosure close the festival. Oh, and the whole thing repeats the next weekend, with online coverage of Coachella’s Clone Weekend Two from AXS, just in case you miss anything the first time around.
