Oluo) has noticed that Industrial Revelation will play at almost any venue thatโ€™s open to them. It can be a museum, a jazz club, a big stage, or just a dinky bar. One could even imagine them performing in a barbershop with enough room for their equipment. This openness is not an indication of desperation, but of an openness to all possible audiences. If you want to listen to their musicโ€”which is a brilliant blend of jazz, punk, indie rock, hiphop, and funkโ€”they will play it for you, no matter your age, race, or location. Tonight, the venue happens to be the cultural institution that is the Blue Moon Tavern. (Blue Moon Tavern, 712 NE 45th St, bluemoonseattle.wordpress.com, 9:30 pm, $10, 21+)
