Seattle's Air Is Not As Polluted As Portland's: Recent data gathered about Portland's air showed it had spots with very high levels of heavy-metal pollution. The cause of this pollution was determined to be two glass factories, which used heavy metals (cadmium, arsenic) to "add color in making 'art' glass." Seattle's air is not so great, but according to measurements made at a station on Beacon Hill, the best neighborhood in the city, it's not nearly as bad as Portland's when it comes to these unhealthy heavy metals.

Two Officers Begin Enforcing Seattle's Dog Laws Next Week: Apparently, no one was enforcing the scoop and leash rules in this city all of this time. Dog owners could break those rules with no fear. Well, those days are over. KOMO News reports that two city employees now have the full-time job of policing dogs and their owners at Seattle's parks. They begin next week. Our green city has over 400 parks. Four eyes will do their best to be all over them.

14-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Rapped in Class About Killing Federal Way Teen: Seattle PI reports that one of the two boys charged with killing another boy, 16-year-old Wesley Gennings, in a Taco Bell parking lot on February 13, just a day after another teen was shot over some bullshit in the parking lot of a Kent McDonald's, was heard rapping about the shooting in class. But the young artist seems to lack originality, as he rapped about the usual sort of gansta thing, about how "snitches get stitches" and so on.

Gennings was shot in the back of the head while sitting in the driver’s seat of his mother’s car. He did not leave that vehicle alive. Gun control should be one of the leading concerns of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Man in Auburn Allegedly Assaults Metro Bus Driver and Threatens Cop With Knife: Cops say he punched the bus driver in the face, and she pushed the alert button. He exited the bus, the police arrived, and he pulled a knife on a deputy. She considered shooting him, but he fled into the woods. The cops eventually found, surrounded, and arrested the man, who displayed signs of madness. He lived to see another day.

Alaska Has Entered a Recession: According to Moody’s Analytics, "credit risk management professionals," Alaska and "three other resource-dependent states" have slid into a recession because of the collapse of oil prices. It seems the good times are over for that GOP-loving state, which has enjoyed what is called petrol socialism for nearly 40 years. The state will now have to suffer petrol neoliberalism: cuts in public services.

The Global Oil Benchmark is $33.92: Indeed, some are predicting that oil will be worthless by 2019.

Enter Mitt Romney: According to the 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, Donald Trump's tax records contain a "bombshell." This only means Romney does not like Trump. And what does Trump think of Romney? He "was one of the dumbest and worst candidates in the history of Republican politics." Trump sang a more favorable tune about Romney in 2012.

Lots Of Pillows In the Death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia: Washington Post got its hands on the police report of Scalia's Texas Ranch death and found lots of pillows in it.

South Koreans Are the Biggest Boozers on Earth:
Al Jazeera has the story: "South Koreans drink twice as much liquor as Russians..."

Finally, Those Biospheres:
