I'm wishing we'd kept Rialto!

until we get a black trans (MTF, the acceptable kind) disabled Muslim journalist with gender pronouns of "zhee" and "zheer," journalism is for the white patriarchy

thanks for covering the anti-Wiggins PAC. I'm sure most people are too distracted by Gates' gift to UW to notice him fucking with our political system again.

It's KNKX. Not KNXK. Please fix!!!

To note about that PAC to control to Supreme Court - at least half the names in that small group - that raised over half a million dollars in just 6 days - are ed reformers. This is NOT all about business interests; it's also about controlling public education (which is half of what the Gates Foundation does.)

Also, I hate Comcast.

Statistical variation does not equal discrimination.
9
@8 you're proposing this is a random outlier from a unbiased distribution? Or you're "just saying"?
10
@9: Pertains to the discrimination in journalism piece.

I want to read a greatest hits recap of all the pundits condescendingly explaining to us naive children that you can't build a stadium without public dollars. I especially want to count up all the times we were told to "grow up" an accept the fact that big time pro sports can't exist without taxpayers doing "their part".

We have rich dudes building their fucking own spaceships at the same time fucking sportsball fanboys are telling us it's too much for rich dudes to build their own stadium.

If only Mike McGinn chose a company with experience and money to build out the Seattle Gigabit project. Many neighborhoods would be lit up by now, but chances are, only the neighborhoods (Downtown, Capitol Hill, First Hill, U-Dist) that have easy access to fast internet would get them, leaving the ones with piss poor options (Georgetown, Rainer Beach, Central District) waiting.

@11: You have a point on the use of the word 'discrimination' in this context but one cannot address diversity without addressing discrimination.
