When "March Against Sharia" participants and counter-protesters faced off in downtown Seattle Saturday, one side radically outnumbered the other. As a hundred or fewer anti-Sharia participants gathered around a PA system on the plaza outside City Hall, hundreds of counter-protesters filled the street nearby drowning them out and chanting messages of solidarity with Muslims.

After most of the crowd had dispersed, a fight broke out and Seattle Police made three arrests and used pepper spray on protesters. But most of the day was peaceful. Photographer and Stranger contributor Nate Gowdy was on the scene:
