During a forum at KEXP yesterday afternoon, mayoral candidates Cary Moon and Jenny Durkan discussed issues impacting the environment and Seattle's vibrant arts scene. When given the opportunity to ask Durkan questions of her own, Moon challenged the former U.S. attorney's ability to relate to Seattle artists "from the narrow point of view as a corporate lawyer and a prosecutor."

To prove her commitment to helping maintain the city's creative soul, Durkan told the audience that she loves "KXAP" because the station reminded her of her days as a classical music radio host at her college.

Yikes.

The call letter flub, which you can find just after the 55 minute mark, below, followed an earlier admission that the last live music performance she'd seen was The Eagles.
