The recent proliferation of Neo-nazi and white nationalist propaganda in Seattle has spread to the heart of Amazonville.

Today, two tipsters claiming to be Amazon employees saw posters and stickers for Identity Evropa, a white supremacist organization known for plastering college campuses with recruitment flyers. One of the tipsters said she saw multiple Identity Evropa stickers during her commute.

"Today, I saw things which have shaken me to my core. As a non-gender conforming Woman of Color, who works at Amazon (yes, we exist), I've never felt safe in a cis, white male, "tech-bro" environment," she wrote. "This morning, on my way to the office, I see MULTIPLE posters and stickers for a white supremacist group called Identity Evropa, plastered on almost every light-pole and on the back of every sign, all up and down South Lake Union."

The other tipster sent us the photo of an Identity Evropa poster stuck to a pole. "I am literally shaking!" the tipster wrote," adding that they did not want to be identified for fear of retaliation.

Identity Evropa is a California-based white nationalist organization founded by Nathan Damigo, a Marine veteran who was convicted of armed robbery after he pointed a gun at an Arab taxi driver. According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the group propagates "the idea that America was founded by white people for white people and was not founded to be a multiracial or multicultural society." Identity Evropa's current leader, Eli Mosley, helped organize the white nationalist "Unite the Right Rally" in Charlottesville, Virginia. The group's slogan, "you will not replace us," also became the demonstration's rallying cry.

In 2016, Identity Evropa members launched a propaganda campaign on dozens of colleges and universities, plastering campuses across the nation with flyers. Both Seattle Pacific University and the University of Washington have recently been hit with Identity Evropa flyers.

But it's not just Identity Evropa. Over the last couple years, Seattle and the Puget Sound region have become a canvass for racist propaganda. The white supremacist group Patriot Front has posted propaganda at Bellevue College. And members of Atomwaffen Division, a neo-Nazi group tied to five murders, plastered Evergreen State College with posters saying "BLACK LIVES DON'T MATTER" after student protests put the school in the national spotlight.
