Maybe it was whatever health concern that made her so surly on the dais. I'm pretty confident whoever's next will be an upgrade for D5.

2

@1, Why do you think the replacement wouldnbe better for D5? Sara Nelson's wing of the Council will choose her replacement.

Moore's pro-housing / anti-housing flip-flop was so fast, from Comp plan proposal 5 to zero growth in no time at all... her health challenge has to be whiplash. One of the most important, long-lasting, and most anticipated decisions the city council knew they would make coming in and she was a full-fucking flip-flop. Moore announced her resignation just after the filing period closed for the next (November) elections so she doesn't even trust her neighbors to choose her replacement in a timely manner either. D5 is lucky to be rid of that CM, couldn't be soon enough.

Even when the Stranger (and few remaining supportive commenters) get what they want, they still can't show the slightest grace.

Looking forward to the next elected CM for District 5 to be someone the Stranger hates even more, somehow.

Look who's talking about "grace."

No more Cathy.
