Unions (outside critical public sectors) have the power to collectively bargain and strike. Where does the UFW stand on this legislation (seems odd there wouldn’t be input from the largest farm workers union in the country)?
It would also be good to understand how this bill compares to the California Agricultural Labor Relations Act (ideally we would use the ALRA as our framework due to CA’s history, case law, etc.)
