Human remains found Monday morning at a Seattle recycling center are believed connected to a Renton nurse who was killed and dismembered, Seattle police said.
The remains were found at a recycling center in the 200 block of South Hanford Street. Police say it is probable the remains are connected to the ongoing investigation into the murder of the 40-year-old Renton woman.
Lyne, a 40-year-old nurse and mother, went missing on April 8. A neighbor first found body parts police believe belong to Lyne on April 9 in the Central District. More were found last week.
John Charlton, a man Lyne was dating, is charged with her murder. Charlton told police the two went to a Mariners game and a bar before going back to Lyne’s Renton home on April 8. According to court documents, Charlton told police he doesn’t remember much of the night and is “not a normal person.”
