The union says in past strikes they've been able to stop vehicles leaving the lot for two minutes before they must break their picket line to let them pass. pic.twitter.com/6uyxP5wdyj

Seattle school bus drivers, members of Teamsters Local 174, held a one-day strike and picket line beginning in the morning's early hours at a bus lot in South Park. The drivers were protesting over health and retirement concern they say have not been addressed by Ohio-based school bus company First Student. At one point, as the videos show, a bus moved through the picket lineāan incident that the Teamsters say left the striking drivers "incredibly shaken up."
Here's what Teamsters Local 174 says about the incident at the bus driver strike this morning (investigation ongoing, not charges).

The Seattle Police Department's Patrick Michaud confirmed that there is an active investigation into this morning's incident, but that he could not say whether a crime had been committed, or if investigators had spoken to the driver of the bus. He said no injuries had been reported, but investigators had been able to interview a number of people there and "get a fairly clear picture." The incident report is unfinished and unavailable to view, but we'll update when we know more.
