"the government could distribute that money in an equitable way that doesn't depend on the whims of billionaires and their pet causes" really? and under what circumstances do you think it will start doing that? I'd like them to be equitable about what they're spending now.

Why don't we take a page from the Republican Playbook on getting the Government we deserve -- and just fucking BUY it? (It seems to work pretty well for the Koch Bros (worth: $80,000,000,000.00) Do we not have enough Billionaires on OUR Side?

Also, I LOVE your take on the life-blood-sucking / economy-draining Billionaire hoarders, making me wonder: Is it time yet to discuss a Maximum Wage? Or are we just gonna wait till there's One Trillionaire and 8 or 9 billion fawners/slaves/prisoners?

How long will the latter take?

Who are Bill and Melinda Gates and why should I care about their opinion again when my rent just went up 40% and my wages went up .05%.

Definitely a 100% inheritance tax for sure. Everybody starts fresh!

Gates had the luck of happenstance and the use of illegal business tactics; he and his did nothing to 'deserve' their masses of cash. And without their money nobody would piss on them if they were on fire. Their words are less than meaningless. Only their money has a mouth.

By definition, billionaires (and the very wealthy) create and maintain poverty, so you can throw that "they are soooo charitable" BS line out the window. For any dollar they give away, they have created untold amounts of poverty by hoarding wealth and actively defending institutions that promote the hoarding of wealth.

Simply having money does not make your opinion worthwhile. If Melinda had not married an extremely wealthy man she would never be asked to open her mouth. What qualification. She'd be popping oxy's, complaining the Mexicans were raping her babies and stealing her hairdresser jobs.

Rather than sit these people in front of the media, you should be going to their big house and throwing the idiot plutocrats into Lake Washington. After that allow the public to come on in and redistribute that wealth.
