The hearing for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is getting real, with secret e-mails tumbling out and Senator Cory Booker risking expulsion from the Senate for personally exposing documents related Kavanaugh's views on race.

Amid all this, Washington State Senator Maria Cantwell still hasn't made clear where she stands on the Kavanaugh nomination.

While Washington State's other senator, Patty Murray, is urging her colleagues to join her in rejecting Kavanaugh, Senator Cantwell hasn't moved forward from her July 9 expression of "grave concerns" about the nominee.

Those "grave concerns" definitely seem like a signal about which way Cantwell's leaning, but the Senator, who's up for reelection this year, still hasn't said for sure that she's a "no" on Kavanaugh.

Early this morning I asked Cantwell's office whether she'll be voting for or against Kavanaugh. I'll post an update if I hear back.

Meanwhile, if you want to follow the advice of a Washington State woman who got arrested at the Kavanaugh hearings, or the advice of Senator Murray...

...here's how to contact Senator Cantwell.
