Yesterday, we published a post on Slog that reported that the climbing documentary Free Solo was playing at Regal Meridian 16 this weekend. That was old information and is incorrect—while the movie does open in LA and New York today, it isn’t expected to open in Seattle until October 12.
We sincerely apologize for this error—we know a lot of you were excited to see this movie and rely on us for accurate information, and we’re sorry we didn’t catch this sooner. Our automated movie times system originally generated the wrong opening dates for this film on September 12, and never updated. We will do our best to ensure this type of error doesn’t happen again.
Movie times for Free Solo‘s Seattle release haven’t been published yet, but we will update our system when they are. You can also see it at the Orcas Island Film Festival next Saturday, October 6. And in the meantime, there are still lots of great movies playing in Seattle this weekend!
