The Abyss Is Unstreamable

Saw An Unmarried Woman in the theater when it opened, like A pic Doesn't Live Here Anymore it was the rare blast of fresh air in the 1970s: a realistic woman-based film, with marvelous actresses.

You surely mean "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" which I agree is a wonderful film and very progressive for its time in that it doesn't overly romanticize its lead characters' relationship. Don't pass on it just because of the dreadful sitcom that it spawned.

They must have just taken The Abyss off HBO, because I'm pretty sure I started watching it a couple weeks ago.
