'this american life,' I believe, had a story about a guy who goes into Chinese restaurant and orders raw prawn which lives in a filthy fishtank and said customer tells a good story of the gastrinomical Pleasure he received -- as well as the prawn's reaction to finding itself in his mouth, sensing its Imminent 'future'...

"There is a big unanswered question in the Star Wars galaxy. It concerns the rules of what to eat and what not to eat.

There must be in the galaxy an intelligence criteria for what can and cannot be spiced, diced, baked, and served on a plate. A law has to exist that protects intelligent creatures from the mouths of other intelligent creatures."

You're really going to be shocked when you find out how intelligent pigs are.

Two things: a) there's a difference between raw prawns and live prawns (and if you are eating something live you'd best have some insight to its response to being eaten https://www.livescience.com/64588-catfish-swallowed-stuck.html ) and b) the frog lady eggs are philosophically interesting; since she had that many eggs, one might think she has more of an r-selected life history, like most frogs, and is only expected to produce one or 2 live offspring to maturity or else the galaxy would wind up buried in frog people anyway.
