(THEATER) Trigger Kids, by solo performer Joe Von Appen, is a morbidly comic tour of American desire and delusion: glue sniffers, gun toters, angry service workers, derisive elementary school teachers, giant black birds circling commuters on the freeway. You realize, while watching him be a stoned dude talking to a security guard or a kid shooting at a satellite dish with a pistol, that Von Appen is one hell of an actor.
