My exposure to cycle tracking comes from the "all organic and natural, no chemicals ever, Back to Nature, vegan/vegetarian types" - which lean very progressive/liberal. I see what you did there by not mentioning those people, but that's the kind of cherry picking I expect from The Stranger. It's a "good" idea when it comes from "my" side, a "bad" idea if it comes from the other.
