For years, the Brown Derby reading series has turned movies—from Flashdance to Alien—into entertaining, always-almost-falling-apart comedy clusterfucks. But the decision to do Trapped in the Closet—R. Kelly’s inadvertently hilarious serial hip-hOpera—was inspired.
