Now that an especially long winter has run its course, spring vegetation is more welcome than ever. A walk through town almost guarantees an eyeful of blossoming trees, but if you want to tend to your own plants, this season is a great time to start. Whether you're a pro gardener or a first-time plant owner, there are dozens of opportunities from now until mid-summer to pick up native flora, perennial flowers, vegetable starters, herbs, and more to grow on your own.
