This Friday, June 7, is National Doughnut Day! The holiday, which was originally created to honor the Salvation Army volunteers who distributed doughnuts to soldiers during World War I, now is the perfect excuse to get your fill of glazed goods and yeasted treats. Below, you'll find pop-ups, doughnut-eating contests, and other special events to celebrate.
