Today, October 4, is National Cinnamon Roll Day. The holiday was launched in Sweden and Finland in 1999 to promote Swedish baking traditions (and increase sales of yeast, flour, sugar, and margarine) and continues to be super popular in those countries, but you don’t have to live in Scandinavia to appreciate stunning, sweetly spiced spirals with gobs of cream cheese frosting and their accompanying aroma. We’ve compiled a handy list of where to find the treats in Seattle, gluten-free and vegan options included. For more ideas, check out our full food and drink calendar.
