IROIRO EP Release Party
Did you know that The Stranger launched a new audio and video podcast in July? Noise Complaint’s first-ever guest was instrumental neo-krautrock band Iroiro, who performed a truly transportive live set in the office before being physically transported—and interviewed—in the building’s freight elevator. The group proves that you don’t need vocals to capture the listener’s attention, with its four members layering the sounds of guitar, bass, drums, synths, and theremin to psychedelic effect. Join Iroiro for a free and all-ages show celebrating the physical release of their new EP (it’s not on streaming platforms until September 11) with support from Tilson XOXO, whose funky fresh tunes combine hip-hop and rock music.
