February's Civic Cocktail Features The Stranger Publisher Tim Keck, Among Others

Civic Cocktail—"Smart talk with a twist" hosted by Seattle Channel and Seattle CityClub—is an evening of networking and conversation featuring special invited guests chatting about predetermined topics with host Joni Balter. For the February edition, the series welcomed Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson (he's the guy who filed the nation's first lawsuit against the Trump immigration ban), and he touched on the the state's opposition to the aforementioned travel ban and legal marijuana, among other things. Then, a panel of local journalism leaders—The Stranger's own publishing guru Tim Keck, along with Crosscut.come Editor-in-Chief Greg Hanscom, President and General Manager of KUOW-FM 94.9 Caryn Mathes, and Seattle Times Editor Don Shelton—discussed the changing media landscape and its current state.
