I was scrolling through Craigslist-Seattle’s Missed Connections* this morning for work, and I stumbled on this doozy of a post:
Sea Fair 1981 – m4w (Seattle)We met at a bar in Seattle during Seattle Sea Fair. I was in the Navy on ship visiting, we hit it off and ended up spending the weekend together. My ship pulled out early and ended up being underway and it was three weeks before we pulled back in to San Diego. I don’t know how but you tracked me down and sent me a letter and called me on the ship. During that phone call you told me that you were pregnant. I’m not proud of what I did but I told you it couldn’t have been mine because I had had my tubes tied which was a lie. After hearing that you said that it must have been your ex-boyfriend.
