Ba Bar is a Vietnamese street-food and noodle spot from Eric Banh (of the delicious upscale Vietnamese of Monsoon
). With the peculiar clutter of former tenant Watertown Coffee
removed, the space looks spare and lovely with its marble-topped bar. There’s superlative pho, vermicelli bowls, rotisserie lemongrass chicken or Peking duck, various small plates, and more, all made with high-quality, local ingredients. Also: cocktails, including mint juleps and Moscow mules served in proper silver and copper cups. Also-also: Kung Fu Karaoke, with 10,000 songs in English and Vietnamese, on Wednesday nights. And Ba Bar is open until 4 am (!) on the weekend.
