Pickles PAT MORIARITY

KeyArena became the Seattle/King County Free Health Clinic for four days this past October, treating nearly 4,500 Seattle folks with dental, vision and minor medical needs, giving out flu shots, performing X-rays and mammograms. As an added bonus, a group of comics artists were on hand, interviewing patients and creating drawings of their stories.

The Stranger published some of the artists' comics in November (check them out here). Now, they'll be having their exhibition debut at tonight's Capitol Hill Art Walk.

Fifteen pieces will adorn the walls at Cupcake Royale along with a few new pieces too, including Eroyn Franklin’s long form work that was featured in The Nib in February.

The exhibit kicks off with a celebration tonight from 5 to 8pm, and the comics will be on display at Cupcake Royale through the end of month.
