Moving through Pickathon can sometimes feel like traveling through time, with musical styles from all eras—from bracingly modern jams to amber-preserved vintage sounds—gracing the many stages. This Starlight Stage performance from C.W. Stoneking definitely falls in the latter category, and the film has been treated to match the Australian blues musician and band's performance. "Gon' Boogaloo" jumps and jives like something from a '50s honky-tonk, even as Stoneking's crew make it sound current and vital.
