Hillary Clinton is now the official nominee for the Democratic Party in the 2016 presidential race.

In that, she makes history, despite a contentious primary and the divided climate at the Democratic convention, currently taking place in Philadelphia, PA.

Hillary will formally accept the nomination on Thursday.

Until then, now is a good time as a ever to re-visit her concession speech in 2008:

Her words at that time: “Although we weren’t able to shatter that highest, hardest glass ceiling this time, thanks to you, it’s got about 18 million cracks in it.”

Eight years later, here we are.
