Fran Lebowitz: Public Speaking, A Conversation with Dan Savage and the Audience will be at Benaroya Hallโ€™s Mark Taper Auditorium on March 2, 2012 at 8:00pm and plans to unite these two dynamic, sardonic social commentators on stage have been in the works for months. Together, they have agreed to have a little chat and take questions from the audience.

  1. I just, just, just can’t imagine Fran Lebowitz having to come to Seattle for any reason. It’s like when Frank Rich and Sondheim did their thing. Not that it’s not a great opportunity for us local yokels and all, but one must…steel oneself to not blush furiously that we live in a world where such persons would have to come…here. I had to walk out of last year’s Morrissey show before it even started – I could tell it wasn’t going to be a sellout and couldn’t face him, not even from the balcony. Have fun, everyone.

  2. one can only hope that the conversation gets heated enough to get physical. Oh I’d pay extra to see the two of them go at it. And for the record…my money is on Fran.
