It’s been a tough day for money issues. In addition to Circuit City filing Chapter 11, the Brokeback Mountain opera apparently will not happen. Also, the same company has apparently scuttled a Walt Disney opera, which sounds like it could’ve been good. Save us, Obama, save us!

Brandon, opera can never, ever be too gay. Even when it is stirringly depicting the most earthshattering heterosexual passions, it is still super gay. That, plus being unable to live without plus-size singers, is why it rulz.
Somehow I think the world will survive the absence of the Brokeback Mountain opera.
