But bedbugs don’t spread disease. None. On the other hand, fleas spread plague and typhus and those diseases kill.
My apartment building has a bedbug-detecting dog inspecting apartments today.
People should stop returning their underwear used.
Oh wait, we’re not talking about that kind of bug?
Ack.
On the bus last week there was a particularly talkative, older, larger lady in a wheelchair who for some reason felt like sharing the story of her apartment building being sprayed for bedbugs ‘just yesterday’.
I swear you could actually feel the entire busload of passengers recoil away from her. Ack.
I would rather have bedbugs than dogs searching my apartment.
@5, no you wouldn’t. You may think so if you haven’t had them but you wouldn’t.
Bedbugs are NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL, YOU PUSSIES.
YES, I get it, ALSO, I have had them. They suck, HARD. But the only real tool against them you can use is the one thing they destroy right off the bat: SANITY.
I lived in Brooklyn and got them BAD, and due to a shitty situation I had no landlord support. I got rid of them and moved over a 3 month period and won. It was hella easy and I am a poor bastard.
I:
Raised my bed, isolated it from the walls and such.
Killed all the bedbugs I could find, looked everywhere for them (They leave unmistakable poops)
Treated areas I thought they could enter with caulk and Vaseline.
Created safe zones where I had triple checked that there were no bugs.
As I could kill them WAY faster than they could reproduce it just became the matter of getting them out of the building, I couldn’t do that so I ended up moving. I DID NOT TAKE ANY WITH ME.
Mice were FAR WORSE of an infestation than BB, I cant catch a mouse.
