Cienna Madrid
Former Stranger news writer Cienna Madrid has been a writer in residence for Richard Hugo House, a local literary nonprofit. There, she taught fiction classes and wrote 4/5 of a book about a death-row psychotic who pens children’s morality tales (spoiler alert: It was all just a dream!). She’s organized, hosted, and read at various reading cities around the city. Cienna grew up in scenic, potatoey Idaho, and has lived and written in Seattle for a decade.
