We had a presidential primary in Washington State this week, and if you’re confused as to why this happened at the end of May, when Donald Trump is already the Republican nominee and Washington State already had its Democratic caucuses two months ago—well, you are not alone.

So I hauled in the sitting Washington Secretary of State, Republican Kim Wyman, to explain—at 1:59—why we just spent over $11 million in public money on a bunch of voting that doesn’t really change anything.
