A 12-year-old Sweetlake boy was accidentally shot and killed by his cousin Tuesday, authorities said.
Wesley Quinn was pronounced dead at a local hospital, Cameron Parish Sheriff Ron Johnson said.
The shooting was “two boys in the house playing with guns,” he said.
That said, apart from being shot and killed with it, having a gun in the house no doubt made that boy safer.
