For some reason he isn’t able to comment right now, and he would just like to say:

I once contributed to tanking the global economy via ethically-challenged-at-best Financial Products, then insisted on accepting a Retention Bonus of millions of dollars. Then I left the company.

Feels great to get that off my chest.

  1. finally, a story about an adult stealing. sorry stranger staff, but almost everybody experimented with shoplifting as children. those stories, while well intentioned, were not properly analogous to the recent ‘scandal.’

  2. If I had the cash, hell, I’d pay the government a hundred-and-fifty-million-dollars just to get everyone to STFU and focus back on the very real (and trillion-dollar) economic crisis.

  3. I stole a meal and several drinks from a date with the implied understanding that I would provide sex in return. I did not provide that sex.

  4. In Elementary school I once took one of those practice plastic 5 cent coins from class and never returned it. And not too long after that I took a chocolate egg from a comic book store.

  5. I stole microscope slides from my science class in grade school. I picked up this really cool antique microscope at a junk shop, but no microscope slides. I asked my mom to get some but she told me she wasn’t wasting any money on a piece of junk. So I asked my science teacher for some so I could experiment, but she said “no”….even after I offered to pay for them….so after class me and a friend came back and pilfered some. I still feel oddly guilty like I’m being watched and going to be busted whenever I happen to find myself around K-12 science teachers or grade schools…which isn’t very often anymore.
