According to Florida Today, Satellite Beach’s Arianne Prevost killed the shit out of a 450 lb., 11 foot alligator while on a gator hunt.

It was a total archery kill,” guide Peter Deeks said, adding Prevost shot the gator several times with a crossbow and finished it with a broadhead. Prevost is having the meat harvested and the gator half-mounted.

Now, I’m sorry, but this is just WRONG. There is no indication that this alligator was doing anything other than living out a long peaceful life, and for this admittedly gorgeous woman to come along and repeatedly pump multiple arrows into this thrashing humongous beast is just… just…

GodDAMMIT, erection! STAY DOWN!!

  1. Several times with a crossbow plus a “broadhead,” which sounds like my penis’s nickname. So, sounds like at least ten minutes of being shot and possibly longer to die.

Charismatic megafauna suffering vs. charismatic looking blonde. I’m not turned on.

  2. Ah, @5, you haven’t been around for a while. Did they finally let you out of jail? Well, don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll be back where you belong in no time.

  3. I’ll come down on the side of not hot. Sport hunting is lame. Regardless of if you eat the meat of the kill or not, such a cavalier attitude towards the life of this wild creature is repugnant.

  4. Florida kills more alligators in an hour just by being Florida than all the sport hunters combined ever. See that lawn? That’s habitat destruction and environmental contamination right there.
