  1. What a difference 15 years makes, just in speaking quality. Obama has learned to round out his vowels. He has eliminated a harsh twang in his inflection, and has smoothed out his overall delivery.

  2. That is awesome! It’s so cool to listen to that clip and know that now he’s in the White House… and still cares about the same issues.

  3. Great clip. I like to see how he’s still true to his values, was still speaking about the need to come together by bridging divides. He’s been consistent. That’s part of his strength.

  4. He didn’t disprove the book and neither did you. Just calling something a name like “moronic” does not prove it wrong, and it makes you look like you have nothing real to argue against it with.

  5. Anthony,
Did you read the book? That was eloquent stuff Obama said. I assume he read the book. I did many years ago. Much of it is statistically dry material. But it is still important that one reads the book before calling it moronic. I recall it being hotly debated.

  6. i love that in the file name npr named him “buhrock ohbahmah.”

phonetically spelled out on the transcript as to pronounce it correctly before he was a household name?

    hilarious.
