Y’all
I’m at an impossibly slow/jammed with children doing their freakin’ schoolwork internet link at a public library, and so this will be quick.
Bears win, 24-7.
Some opinion from around Chicago.
More after the game. Soldier Field does not yet have wifi, so it’ll be dead-slogging in the afternoon. . .

Tomorrow will be a tough game for the Seahawks. The game being at Chicago I’m doubting there is even hope for the seven, Chicago Fan.
You’re being too nice to your Seattle brethren.
Any NFL team are a bunch of fags compared to the typists of the The Stranger’s first string:
Savage, Holden, Sanders -what a backfield.
Tough dudes indeed, on the edge of blog intensity. Strategic swear words like cunt, fuck, shit, whore and faggot step up to meet the stinky society they battle – gameday is everyday, and everyday is a dead-slog, intellectualism sucks, it’s mano y mano, and boy are they ever ready. It’s gonna be a crazy Sunday. Look out Monday Morning.
My favorite part of The Stranger team, despite being so darn relentless, brutish, and successful (they score on just about every possession!), is the drives where they are forced to punt. Wm Steven Humphrey has such great accuracy, he almost always hits the coffin corner. Therefore, I feel I gotta give back, to the type of commentary which fills me with hope for the future.

Seahawks 9, Bears 6.

Even a quarter decent air game could take down the Bears.
Seahawks could win this one.
Also, I believe Clear Wimax is available in Chicago.
Just $30/month would give you wireless Internet access in the whole city, including the stadium.

that 7 will be scored by the hawks D
Yeah Supreme Ruler, that’s what the Packers and Cowboys are missing, a decent air game.
GB 17 – CHI 20
CHI 27 – DAL 20
So, loss by one score.
And lets not forget
CHI 3 – NYG 17
I think because we expect them to do poorly they may pull it off. But here is what will actually happen. They will make it close and loose by a field goal in the last minute of regulation (maybe even a field goal in OT).
This will be a tough game for any Hawks fan, and a bit tougher for me, as I’m a recent transplant to Chicago. Keep in mind, Carolina, where the Bears won last week — a week after getting embarrassingly slayed by the Giants — are a terrible team. And the Seahawks are most definitely better than Carolina, though still not “good.”
The silver lining is that — much like the Hawks — Chicago has an offensive line that likes to collapse, leaving the quarterback vulnerable (see aforementioned Bears/Giants game).
The Bears may have a 4-1 record, but the fact remains: THEY STILL AREN’T THAT GOOD.
I got a friendly bet on the spread with a friend who works at the rival Sun-Times. We’ll see how it pans out. GO HAWKS!
@12 WORD SALAD
@ everyone else, the spread is in the seahawks favor, if I’m not mistaken, (+6.5) over the bears
Not sure what the Vegas spread is, but the Bleacher Report called it for the Bears.
What was that prediction?
Huge win for the hawks. Look forward to the dead slog.
Lord Chicago is terrible. Is there a worse qb than cutler?
I still don’t get why Chicago Fan’s posts are considered worthy of SLOG.
Fucking hell. Mike Tice needs to put on his ass-kicking boots and do something about that offensive line!
18: The fact that he’s Dan’s brother could have something to do with it. Now why are your posts worthy of Slog?
Ahhhhhhhhh, thanks. Didn’t realize that.
Comment != post. I’m aware of my limitations. 🙂
