What Palin’s beauty did to the president of Pakistan:

A Pakistani cleric has issued a fatwa against Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari for flirting with US Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

  1. Oh now, be nice. We’re all going to have to sit down with these people, hold hands, and sing “Kum Ba Yah” with them after President Obama talks with them, aren’t we?

  2. Ask Anthony Hecht, who reported that of all the stocks in the S&P 500, only Campbell’s Soup increased. 499 fell.

Kraft started advertising Kool-Aid after eleven years had elapsed.

Something is happening. Stay at home. Do not spend, especially on clubbing.

  3. Stop clubbing seals. With the economy this bad, how can you afford to be out on the ice clubbing seals? Stay at home and eat Campbell’s soup. Whether hearty beef stock or genuine chicken stock, the stock in Campbell’s soup won’t let you down like some other stocks we could name.

Do not spend, especially on clubbing seals. The only seals you should be breaking are the seals on cans of delicious Campbell’s soup, which come in many flavorful varieties and are made with natural ingredients. Campbell’s Soup: Melamine-free since 1869!

  4. for christ’s sake, Stop Clubbing Seals And Crofts. Or Krofts, not sure. But after eating can after can of botulism-ridden Campbell’s Beef Stock, they are long dead. Or they probably are. Or dammit, they outta be, after all that Clubbing.

  5. On a 2nd thought, I do think this was a big mistake made by the campaign. they should’ve consulted the state department on how to dress when meeting world leaders of the Islamic nations. I don’t think I’ve never seen Condi Rice or Palosi meet leaders of Islamic nations dressed provocatively.

Clearly, she could start wars based on her lack of intelligence on different cultures.

  6. It struck me that Republican jokes have become the new drug jokes.

Like in 1975 on Saturday Night Live, if you wanted to get a laugh all you had to do was make an allusion to smoking or taking drugs. The audience laughed…the cast laughed…people with a sense of comedy…well, we waited for it to pass.

Now SNL has fallen into it’s old habit, but by using Palin or McCain jokes. They don’t even have to write real jokes or lines, just wheel out a Palin imitator and everyone starts to titter.

For me, there’s nothing more unfunny than a bunch of stoners giggling over something that seems really, really funny to them and it’s worse if you put it on television. Same with Republican jokes by Libs.

  7. Could be true, but I would confirm it–this is an Indian website and, as someone who is living in India right now, I can confirm that the Indian media makes stuff up all the time.

  8. Am I the only one out here who can’t stop seeing Tina Fey when they look at Palin? And of course, every time I think of Tina Fey as Palin I have to laugh, so…every time I see Palin what do I do? Laugh! lol If McCain and Palin get elected, at least there will be some awesome SNL moments! lol Is it worth 4 more years of hell? Uhmm…okay, maybe not, but I can’t stop laughing at Palin/Tina Fey/Palin!

  9. @22 when Tina Fey won her Emmy last week, afterward at a press conference she said something along the lines of that she never, ever, wants to have to play Sarah Palin after Nov 4. Please help that happen (to the audience)…

    It was really cute

  10. Fundamentalism, that is.

    Fundamentalism is as fundamentalism does.

Forgive me, fellow Sloggers. To Slog, and therefore to err, is human. Ain’t that so?
