On New Year’s Day, around 3:00 p.m. Police responded to an alarm at a school, where they found two suspected burglars on the roof.
According to the address listed in the SPD Blotter post, the alarm went off at Sanislo Elementary School. When police arrived they used Seattle Fire Department ladders to climb up to the roof. The post, however, doesn’t say what led police to the roof. Did they spot the 19- and 27-year-old suspects up there? Did the school’s alarm indicate that the disturbance was on the roof? Regardless, after reaching the roof they found two men hiding, with “two packs filled with items stolen from the school.” They were booked into King County Jail for investigation of burglary.
The SPD Blotter also doesn’t itemize what was found in their packs. But if the two suspects’ New Year’s resolution was to steal more shit from children, they’re allegedly off to a great start.

as long as i can still steal children, 2012 is fine by me.
They should have started the day with a tasty bowl of santorum:

methinks it was stuff from the science lab. that meth won’t cook itself!
What a coincidence, my new years’ resolution is to steal more things from kids! I always give myself a really terrible resolution so that when I inevitably fail at it, I can actually feel good about not having gone through with it in the first place. For example, my resolution for 2010 was to spend more time volunteering for Republican fundraising campaigns, and it feels great to have utterly botched it.
Fools! They could have accomplished the same objective of robbing children if they had just voted Republican.
The two alleged uses of allegedly don’t tell the same alleged story and it allegedly disturbs me.
@4 – Really, Zebes, I expect less from you. You’re a major disappointment, but not as much as you could be. I wish you’d apply yourself to really letting us down.
