You make it, we post it. Remember, this is a town-hall style debate they’re having tonight, so the audience is a character in the drama. Below are some sentence fragments to get you going in the comments:

Drink every time moderator Tom Brokaw…

Take a shot every time an audience member…

Finish drink and pour two more if John McCain…

Body shots if Barack Obama…

  1. Drink every time moderator Tom Brokaw slurs the letter L.

Take a shot every time an audience member boos a candidate.

Finish drink and pour two more if John McCain links Obama to terrorism or Ayres.

Body shots if Barack Obama mentions Charles Keating.

  2. I am off the sauce until Election Night. But, if I were drinking, it would be every time Tom Brokaw makes me swoon.
Which means I would be hammered in about fifteen minutes.

  3. Become–don’t just drink, but become–a bottle of Jim Beam if John McCain once again almost goes postal while trying to pronounce “I’m-A-Dinner-Jacket.”

And no, I don’t feel like letting it go.

  4. Drink if a questioner has a ponytail.

Or, if you want to get hammered, when you hear “anti-American”, “flag”, “patriotic”, “terrorist”, “Chicago”…

Town hall debate, prove me wrong: the most inane, just-plain-stupid questions always come from the undecided yet ‘concerned’ voters at these things.

  5. McCain:
    “maverick”,
    “my friends”,
    “went against my own party”,
any mention of his time as a POW,
    Lipstick,
    Ayers,
    Wright,
    Rezko,
    tactic not a strategy,
    nuclear,
    troops,
    drill baby drill,
    say it ain’t so,
    South Ossetia

    Obama:
    “reached across party lines”,
    “reached across the aisles”,
lulls his head around to keep from looking at the camera,
    “America wants change…”,
“four more years of George Bush”,
    “Bush and John McCain”,
    Now, listen…”,
    “Main Street” ,
    Middle Class,
    Lipstick,
    Keating,
    solar, wind, geothermal,
    depression,
    Lehman Brothers

  6. We started drinking every time McCain said, “My Friends.” good thing we didn’t start until late, else we’d miss work tomorrow.
