I’m still here too. After 7 days the rain has stopped in southern California but more is expected. I need to get a few groceries tomorrow, do a little wrapping and then my dog will deliver presents to all her canine buddies in the neighborhood. Sunday will be our family day this year, 28 of us from age 2 to 70 will get together, well except maybe the girlfriend who is really sick.
Unfortunately we’ve had to lay off more people at work, it’s year end and inventory all next week, then end of year payroll and new tax rates the week after. Who knows what next year has in store for any of us? Today I am very grateful to have my girlfriend of 27 years, my dog and my family, my home and a great job with health insurance.
