there’s no mazda 3 at that lot though… (mini cooper, prius, civic and a cr-v live here).
Zipcar uses this lot (old taco time) it as a staging lot, so it’s more likely a car the tow truck dropped it off.
There is a mazda 3 parked at 14th and union, (two blocks away) but it’s license plate is AAW4314, not AAW4316…

When I am riding my bike around town, I treat zip-cars with extra caution: infrequent drivers in unfamiliar vehicles. Yikes!
I wonder if my fear is founded, though — perhaps the kind of people who use zip-cars are more careful drivers as a group than the general population.
I saw one parked in the Zipcar space outside On 15th Video–bumper smashed right into a stone post and wheels on the sidewalk. I guess Zipcars are for drunk drivers?
@13, your fear is real, because Zipcars ARE unfamiliar vehicles to their infrequent drivers. Who are Seattle drivers, some of the most clueless and incompetent in North America. I ride a Vespa, and along with old Volvos and old Subarus, Zipcars represent the biggest danger in traffic…
@15 add to this list UHaul drivers and people in large luxury vehicles who were hats!
@13 You’re right abt Zipcar drivers. The incentive is built so that you try to cram too many things into too little time, driving too fast with very little to lose since it isn’t your car. Bad mix.
