My top recommendation for tonight is that you hang out on Slog and enjoy SECB’s Four Loko—Powered™ election coverage.
But in the comments thread for my earlier post about campaign parties, some of you extrovert types (what are you doing on the internet?) wanted to know about bars showing election results…without politicians around. I did some quick digging and found options for you lot:
Canterbury Ale & Eats—Happy hour till 6 p.m. (534 15th Ave E)
Five Point Cafe—Happy hour till 6 p.m. (415 Cedar St)
Moe Bar—Happy hour till 7 p.m. (1425 10th Ave, 5 p.m.)
Spitfire—Happy hour till 7 p.m. (2219 4th Ave, 5 to 10 p.m.)
The Comedy Underground—Election Night Comedy Show. (109 S. Washington St., 8:30 p.m., tickets $12 regular/$6 student at door, $10 in advance, proceeds go to the ACLU of Washington)
The Comet Tavern—Happy hour till 7 p.m. (922 E. Pike)
The Crocodile—Happy hour till 7 p.m. (2200 2nd Ave.)
The Redwood—Happy hour till 8 p.m. (514 E. Howell St., 7:30 p.m.)
Town Hall Seattle—Beer and wine available for purchase. (1119 8th Ave, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.)
UPDATE, 4:19 p.m.: Town Hall just let me know that they are providing FREE PIZZA from Primo. There is also an election quiz with prizes.

Moe Bar and Spitfire are great – they have large TV sets and good drinks and eats. Canterbury is nice too.
I like the Rainier at the Comet.
Jesus, none of you assholes are going to plug Goldy’s Horses Ass promoted regular Tuesday night political social gathering, Drinking Liberally?
Is that because when Erika was working for The Stranger, and showed up, saw Joel Connelly there, and immediately turned around? Did Erika put voodoo curse on the Montlake Ale House for Tuesday nights? (Joel and Erika seem to get along better these days, although with the still quixotic sidebar as to the difference of the other.)
@2 oh, my guess is they figured you’d be at the Westin like normal people.
that reminds me, i still have a gift certificate for drinks at Drinking Liberally …
We’re watching the returns with real people at the 5 Point too. It’ll be more funner.
@ Dave Meinert — That’s not what your phone-answerer told me. I tried, man.
The 5 point is a quick bus ride from the Westin.
We’ll be watching at the Crocodile, too. Back bar opens at 4pm, Happy Hour til 7 and $6.50 pizza all night.
Oh, and, also Captain Blacks will have election results on all night (3 screens), but I will be playing 45s from 8pm on so you need to listen to the results with your eyes.
Scratchy 7″ soul singles sound better than newscasters, anyway. Plus: chicken & waffles for $7, new Tuesday special.
Original post updated to include info from Five Point and The Crocodile, plus free pizza tip from Town Hall.
pizza!
Wish I was at Town Hall for the free pizza. Always love free food
AUTO-BATTERY on Capitol Hill Union & 10th Ave is showing COMEDY CENTRALS ELECTION COVERAGE TONIGHT! hoorayyy!!
