I have the panel that says “you have chosen to spend your only life this way” as my desktop.
The humor is even more brutal if you work in game dev…
No, the excellent guest comic is the next one:

This comic is also excellent, but it was made by John Campbell, the regular author. And I have it printed and stuck to my cube wall. But I like #1’s idea a lot!
Ohmygod John Campbell is my favorite webcomic guy in the whole world! (Coming from a lady who has ~30 webcomics she checks daily).
I have a print of one of his comics on my bedroom wall!
Also: I am a huge gamer, and this comic made me wince. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? Gaming is fun for me. Yes, I have chosen to spend my only life doing a hell of a lot of something that I find fun. And really, it’s as pointless as anything else. Except like, curing cancer, but how many of us do that, ey?
The testing department should try URU: The ages beyond Myst online. It just launched (again) and is absolutely free. It’s also the most beautiful game you’ve ever seen.

“I have done nothing wrong but you are still going to destroy me.” That reminds me, I never did finish Shadow of the Colossus. I should fire up my PS2 and get on that…
@2 – Thanks for the catch! We are subliterate.

Curing cancer won’t make you live longer. Hell, researching medical immortality has a slim chance of producing any measurable results in your own life.
Game on.
p.s. mediocrity is killing us
